On direct mail projects with shorter timelines, existing, evergreen photography would be used. Our merch partners would have specific product requests, but more often than not design curation, color shifts and in-product photography was decided by the designer or informed by the overarching campaign.
I enjoyed the challenge of finding the appropriate images and arranging all of the pieces to showcase key product features and inspirational use cases. I also kept diversity at top of mind when picking the in-product photography.
